born 1959 in Dresden, Alexander Fakoó spent a wonderful childhood
in Meißen in the 1960s and his youth in Berlin
even at school, his interest was mainly in the transmission of information,
since his apprenticeship in the 1970s he worked in the field of telecommunications,
later as a communications electronics engineer throughout Germany
for health reasons, he stopped his assembly work in 2003 and started his own business on the
Internet with web design and online trading
after the amicable separation from his wife, the father of three took up his pen for the first time at Christmas 2005
after contacting a blind author, he came up with the idea of 'learning Braille on the Internet'
and since 2006 he has been building up the information and learning websitefakoo.de,
which he runs alone, about alphabets for disabled people,
see also Historical development of the website fakoo.de
as a sighted and hearing person, he has spent many years working intensively on the
communication of blind, deaf and deafblind people and developed extensive
information pages and interactive learning and practice programs for the alphabets used from 2006 to 2012,
including the development of new alphabets for the blind (such as Fakoo,
Quadoo und Siekoo)
his social commitment is particularly evident in the huge number of learning,
practice and information pages on fakoo.de, which he has researched and programmed himself on all kinds of alphabets
for disabled people, and which he makes available to all visitors free of charge and without restriction.
Alexander Fakoó on the Internet
During this long period (since 2006), Alexander Fakoó has been involved in many places on the
Internet and is connected with many people. First there were short stories and
poems on a website created specifically for this purpose, then came Braille and other alphabets,
which still occupy Alexander Fakoó today.
Anoverview of all of Alexander Fakoó's websites shows his current involvement.
