- To display contraction in eurobraille, download the
TTF font ''Blista Braille''.
Or you can use the font with displayed auxiliary dots:
TTF font ''Blista Braille Plus''.
The 'plus' in the name of the font designates the auxiliary dots, which stand for the
dots that are not set.

- This 8-dot Braille font corresponds to Eurobraille, upper and lower case letters are different, phonetics are absent and the numbers have their own combinations.

If you don't see the small x in braille, or the big X is missing a dot 7, you have an old, buggy font installed. - In order to make Braille characters encoded according to unicode
visible on the internet, you must install the TTF
font ''Unicode-Braille'' or another unicode font on your system.
- Test the successful installation of an unicode font:
If you see the red capital letters without the dot 7, another braille font provides the Unicode characters but only the 6 dot portion to represent contractions. Digits and other special characters must then be converted to 6-dot eurobraille, otherwise they will be displayed incorrectly.The following line will appear in the font Unicode-Braille:

encode / decode in Unicode Braille
(format the output area in Courier or Monospace for the exact display of spaces in all browsers and for Internet Explorer "line-height" larger than the font size specify) - In order to make the Unicode Braille characters visible, a corresponding Unicode font is required. On modern systems, system fonts already represent the Unicode Braille characters. If you can already see the Braille characters in the test field, you don't need to do anything. Otherwise you would need to download and install an appropriate font as above.
- Web page designers could embed an appropriate Unicode font in the web page for convenience, but again, success is not always guaranteed. Older computer systems or text-based browsers cannot do anything with these characters and only represent replacement characters.
- The Unicode Braille characters are also not suitable for blind Internet visitors, unless they have a device that converts Unicode into normal text. Unicode braille is a purely visual way of representing braille.
